Mondays 14:00, Thursdays (all times) A2-B1:
We have finished Units 1, 2 and 3 and have also done the review on pages 30-31. You are responsible for all of the material in these three Units. Remember the 'practical application' of the grammar and the vocabulary in these units. For those who have decided not to buy the book, here are the subjects we have covered:
Grammar: to be - affirmative, negative, interrogative, short answers; there is/there are - affirmative, negative, interrogative, short answers; a lot of; present simple - affirmative negative, interrogative; question words; adverbs of frequency.
Vocabulary: cities and adjectives, places in a city, buildings and places; Jobs and places of work, jobs in an office; Verbs and words connected with water.
Speaking: Asking personal questions, questions about different cities, contractions, schwa 8 ; Reporting on someone's job/study, discussing jobs, word stress; talking about water, asking questions about routines and habits, showing interest.

Information about coursebooks, credits, courses

"Idoneità" (lunedì ore 14:00-15:30 oppure giovedì tutte le ore)

- cercate di seguire il corso indicato per corso di laurea e cognome.
- se non è possibile seguire il corso indicato, venite quando è possibile

- comprate il libro indicato per il corso - non fate fotocopie. Aparte l'illegalità, perderete metà del corso se non avete il libro di testo con il codice per accedere alla piattaforma sull'internet.Il libro si chiama Language Leader - Elementary (9781408298503 LANG LDR ELEM CBK/CDR/LMS+ACCRD PK)

- se avete già un certificato per l'esame PET, FCE, CAE o IELTS/TOEFL, bisogna portare l'originale e la fotocopia da me per essere esonerati dall'esame di idoneità, e poi venire a convalidare l'esame in una data indicata per la registrazione degli esami di lingua.
- Non fermarvi alla "idoneità"!!! Il livello B1 è un livello basso, e non basta per accedere al mondo di lavoro. Ci sono corsi che possono aiutarvi a continuare a migliorare il vostro livello di inglese...approfittatene, perchè costano molto al di fuori dall'università...

il 7 o 28 giugno, 29 giugno,
19 luglio o 20 settembre,
dalle ore 12 alle ore 14.

Gli esami si terranno alla fine del semestre: l'ultimo giorno della lezione a fine maggio per i frequentanti, e a giugno-luglio per i non-frequentanti.

Per la convalida di esami, bisogna aspettare giugno, in una data da determinarsi.

Esami, Registrazione

Ci sono ancora dei dati di esame per chi non ha ancora sostenuto l'esame di inglese:

Esami scritti: il 25 gennaio, 1, 8 e 29  febbraio, alle ore 9:30 (nell'aula inglese).
Esami orali: il 26 gennaio, il 2 e 9 febbraio,  e il 1 marzo alle ore 9:30 (nell'aula inglese).
E' consigliato provare i due 'test' del link qui a destra ("facsimile d'esame") prima di presentarsi all'esame.

L'esame non e' prenotabile online; si può' venire direttamente qualche minuto prima delle 9:30 con un documento di riconoscimento.

La registrazione si terra' il 1 marzo dalle ore 12 alle ore 14 (nell'aula inglese).

(n.b. Gli studenti del 1 anno non possono registrare l'esame prima di giugno.)
