I am very sorry for the delay in publishing these results. I wanted to correct your tests carefully.
If this had been a final exam, many of you would not have passed, so you have some work to do in the second semester!
Remember, the general rule is that you must have 18/30 to pass, therefore you must answer 60% of the questions correctly. There were 135 questions on this test, so you should have reached at least 81 (let's say 80). I have not written your names for fear of embarrassing someone. If you cannot find your number, send me an email at pickens@unina.it.
Those of you who have at least 80, you are welcome to sign up for the final exam.
The fact that you have taken and passed this test will count in your favor by increasing your final mark by 10%.
The rest of you need to study a bit more...

Gent.ma prof Pickens io ho raggiunto un punteggio di 68 e vorrei comunque fare l'esame di gennaio...è possibile farlo o bisogna obbigatoriamente aver superato questo test?

68/135 = 50% sui primi 4 capitoli del libro - (neanche la meta'). L'intero libro e' mirato ad aiutare gli studenti a superare l'esame B1 (PET) - il vostro esame finale.
Non vorrei ostacolare nessuno, quindi, nonostante i risultati del test, se lei crede di essere in grado di superare l'esame finale (che in effetti e' molto piu' difficile) puo' prenotarlo.

Dear prof. Pickens sono la matricola N10/1116, volevo chiederle, dato che non sono riuscita a superare la prova di dicembre(76/135)ed ho già prenotato l'esame prima delle vacanze ,ora cosa devo fare??

Dovresti continuare a seguire, e poi fare l'esame finale direttamente a giugno. Per i frequentanti ci sara' sempre un premio all'esame finale (aparte il fatto che avrete un grande vantaggio - l'esame diventera' piu' facile se seguite con impegno!). Ci vediamo a marzo, e in bocca al lupo per gli altri esami!
